At the end of 2020, adidas quietly switched from the classic Superstar to the often overlooked Forum, and we hardly even noticed. While there were still a few new Superstar releases, the focus was on the other retro sneaker.
At the same time, the brand with the Three Stripes collaborated with great partners like Girls Are Awesome to create a collection with Los Angeles Lakers-friendly colours.

The two brands have designed a total of three sneakers. These include a Girls Are Awesome x adidas Forum 84, a Triple Platforum Low, and a Forum Low. The look is shared between three models, while the brand’s initiative is embroidered on the side midfoot.
They also feature furry trims and the signature lockdown strap, which can be swapped for other fasteners that are included.
The low version, the adidas Forum Low, does without that spiked sole and looks more like a classic model with modern touches.
